The VW WhiteNoise Festival beckons and we'll be there from the 10th - 13th August (open to the public from the 11th) and hopefully the weather will be kind to everyone. We opted to go without an electric hook-up (mainly because it costs another £100 per pitch!) and will be living off-grid for the whole 4 days. We've got plenty of 12 volt battery power on tap to run everything we need and keep all our gadgets charged. We're using a 2000 watt inverter that'll run our electrical appliances (induction hob, air fryer and the all important kettle) and a separate battery bank to run the fridge as the fridge is generally the most juicy appliance. We'll linking the fridge battery bank to our solar panels to top up the batteries over for the 4 day event.
